A dinosaur wrestles a robot and everybody wins, in the words of Stephen Cave.
A line is a dot that went for a walk, in the words of Paul Klee.

Though she isn't quite graceful nor melodious, Melody Grace Duenas is one thing, and that's a self-proclaimed silly monster. Or artist. Or artistic silly goose. Whichever it may be, however, the love of art and design captured Melody at a very young age, and she was encouraged by supporting family and friends to pursue the life of an artist. A life filled with magic and inspiration, imagination, paint, design, shape, color, symbolism, story, and most importantly, the absurdity of being able to bring to being polar bears in tutus.
So she went to art school, where she is currently (FINALLY!) wrapping up her BFA in Illustration (2005-2010) at Laguna College of Art & Design, in Laguna Beach, CA. She has been steadily showing in group shows since 2007, and has shown at The Hive Gallery & Studios since the end of 2008. There she has been featured as the Tall Wall Artist (September 2009), and most recently as Featured Artist #2 (August 2010).
Something for somethings sake: Melody has gotten severe migraines since she was seven years old, and is allergic to gluten and corn products. She also adores baking. This unique situation, coupled with her ultimate dream of one day owning her own gallery/cafe, has pushed Melody to bake delicious gluten & corn free yummies for all. She specializes in Orange Peach Mango cupcakes, and is working on perfecting the perfect gluten-free pie crust!
